Hallelujah, it is my FAVORITE time of year. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love summertime but there is something so nostalgic and cozy about the change of seasons from summer to fall. We have created the perfect project to kick off the new season. Who doesn’t love a two-fer? This project is 2 crafts in 1! September will soon bring leaves and pumpkins along with warm apple cider, bonfires and hayrides but as soon as it hits Oct 1st, it is all things spooky. Welcome the fall season with this adorable little scarecrow holding a flickering lantern that will turn on at the same time every night and turn off by itself 5 hours later so you don’t have to worry about forgetting to turn it off and draining the battery (I know from experience how frustrating that is). On Oct. 1st, detach the back board from the Velcro and flip it around to display the ghost as a Halloween decoration. Not gonna be home for Halloween? Replace the lantern with a bowl of sweet treats for your trick or treaters to help themselves to a piece of candy. Step by step instructions will be given as we demonstrate how to paint your perfect ghost and scarecrow adorned with real flannel shirt pockets and collar, straw, leaves, pumpkins and of course, lantern (batteries included). We cant wait to see how these all turn out!
